The Engine Control Module (ECM) regulates the actuator's duty cycle using Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) signals to adjust boost pressure continuously based on real-time engine operating conditions.

The ECM monitors parameter inputs—including engine speed, manifold absolute pressure (MAP / boost), desired fuel quantity, and atmospheric altitude—to command the SA1182 actuator.
